 FAMILY SERVICE - 1st May

St. Andrew’s will be marking the Royal Wedding at the Family Service on 1st May.    Vicar James will speak on  Marriage and  hymns like “Lord for the years”,  “Let there be love shared among us” , “Come on and Celebrate” and “Love Divine” will enhance this theme.  The reading will be “The Wedding in Cana of Galilee”.

 Following the service everyone is invited into the Parish Centre to raise a glass as the Vicar toasts the marriage the Royal    Couple—William and Catherine. (Photo of Vicar James and Revd. Canon Alan Boddington toasting the Royal couple)

On Thursday 28th April, pupils from Shottery  Junior School will be enacting their own mock wedding ceremony in church.    Olivia and  Mohamed will be bride and groom and they will be suitably attended by Bridesmaids, Best Men, Flower girls and Page boys, and joined by family and friends.   Ushers will attend to the guests and a photographer will be on hand.
