 Music at Shottery St Andrew's

At St Andrew's music plays a very important role in the life of the Church

The Choir

We have a lively Junior and Senior Choir of 30 singers from ages 7 to 70s.                                                    

 Commitment is just one practice a week during term time on Thursdays,
Sunday 10am Services, and Evensong once a month with full choir.

We also sing at weddings and give various performances throughout the year.

Junior Choir receive payment for attendance and extra for weddings.

We enjoy singing music in lots of different styles as well as following the
training program for the Royal Society of Church Music.

The St Andrew's Players.

We have choir, congregation and friends who are talented instrumentalists. There are many opportunities to perform in various types of music groups from small ensembles to larger bands for Church events, Concerts Festivals and Fetes.
