Holy Communion Service

The service will be held at church and available online over zoom.

1) For those in church, you will be receiving the Sacrament in 'one kind' only. The chalice will not be offered but in receiving the bread of communion (wafers) you are receiving the sacrament in its entirety. This is important to understand as this is the Church of England's theological understanding and is the instruction that our Bishops have given us.

2) For those on Zoom - please continue to take your own bread & wine at home as you have during these last 18 months or so. But please note though - what you take at home is not consecrated bread and wine, there is no consecration of bread and wine 'through the screen!'. As you take your bread and wine at home you will continue to do so in remembrance of Christ as you have been doing so during our Agape services during the pandemic.

Lent course 2026 : The Wilds of Faith - The Desert Mothers & Fathers

A five week Lent course starting on Wednesday, 25th February at 7.30pm led by Revd Joy Hance and Revd Sarah Cushing. The Desert Mothers & Fathers were early Christian poineers, imitating Christ’s own time in the wilderness to reclaim old standards of discipleship, sacrificing comfort to pursue holiness. A series that will help us enter 40 days of prayer, simplicity and spiritual renewal together, based on the Desert Mothers and Fathers, anchored by Lectio 365 and 24-7 prayer.

The sessions will be held at 5 Plover Close, Stratford CV37 9EN.

For further ring Revd Joy on 01789 414603 or sign up on the sheet in the church foyer.

Family Mothering Sunday Service

Family Mothering Sunday Service
