Sunday 8am - Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)
Each Sunday morning the Book of Common Prayer is used for our Communion service at St Andrew’s Church Shottery.
You are welcome to join us, just come along to the church before 8am and you will be welcomed in.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Holy Communion Service
The service will be held at church and available online over zoom.
1) For those in church, you will be receiving the Sacrament in 'one kind' only. The chalice will not be offered but in receiving the bread of communion (wafers) you are receiving the sacrament in its entirety. This is important to understand as this is the Church of England's theological understanding and is the instruction that our Bishops have given us.
2) For those on Zoom - please continue to take your own bread & wine at home as you have during these last 18 months or so. But please note though - what you take at home is not consecrated bread and wine, there is no consecration of bread and wine 'through the screen!'. As you take your bread and wine at home you will continue to do so in remembrance of Christ as you have been doing so during our Agape services during the pandemic.

Holy Communion for Maundy Thursday
Join us the celebrate Maunday Thursday at our service of Holy Communion with the Washing of Feet.
Holy Communion (Said Service)
This is a Said Holy Communion service. There is on occasion a short talk within the service which is held weekly at St Andrew’s Church Shottery.
You are welcome to join us, just come along to the church before 10am and you will be welcomed in.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Service of Light and Shadow
This is a beautiful, ancient service that involves the lighting of candles and then the extinguishing of them as parts of the passion story are read.
The service will help us reflect on the encroaching shadows of Good Friday.
